The Next Generation Sports (TNGS) is a consulting firm specializing in sports training and high-performance that connects bridges between different countries, thanks to football. TNGS has been coaching players from around the world on Next Generation (NG) skills for over 10 years. The three main priority areas are leadership and personal branding, tactical aspects of the game and decision making, and teamwork.

During this past summer, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization hosted two 3-week intensive NG Virtual Football Camps for 12 to 18-year-old boys and girls. The online experience, designed by the TNGS team of European Club Experiences, UEFA-accredited Spanish coaches and psychologists, was created to educate talented players from around the world on game intelligence, and focused on allowing each athlete to reach their full potential, even in adverse situations.

The NG Virtual Football Camp allowed these young players, from their homes, to develop the necessary tools to be prepared to be the next generation of the future that will make a difference. They were guided by professional coaches and trainers linked to the football of the Spanish League. Training sessions were divided into three blocks: soft skills, technical talk and on the field (team work).

Four players emerged as winners of this season’s NG Virtual Camp, including Anjali Saunders of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the only female player to be selected. Each winner earned a 10-day camp experience, which is scheduled to take place on June 2021, in Valencia, Spain.

Anjali commented, “No matter how tough life gets, never stop believing in what you love. Thank you to my coaches, parents and TNGS for the opportunity.”
