There was a noticeable shift in the performance of the WNT for Team Turks and Caicos during their concluding RTWGC match on December 4, 2023. It appeared that Turks and Caicos adopted a strategy emphasising aggression and passion for this crucial finale, which was evident in their relentless effort throughout the game. The match occurred on the island of Providenciales, grappling the WNT against Bonaire, a familiar opponent they had previously faced on September 21, 2023. The initial encounter between both teams during the 2023 W Gold Cup season resulted in a draw.

Bonaire managed to secure both their goals in the first half, with the first coming at the 19' mark and the second at the 35' mark. However, in the second half of the game, Turks and Caicos firmly denied Bonaire any further goals. It was evident in this final match that claiming victory was a deep desire for Turks and Caicos. Their manoeuvres, dribbles, and passes displayed remarkable cohesion, portraying the team's unity and determination. Despite seeking more scoring opportunities, Turks and Caicos fell short, culminating in a win for Bonaire.

It is important to note that most of the WNT team representing Team Turks and Caicos consists of Under-17 players competing against seasoned and more experienced women at this level of competition. This showcases their passion for football and courage, as they displayed remarkable resilience in the face of these challenges. It is a testament to their dedication to the sport and drive to succeed in adversity.

Head Coach Aaron Lawrence commented, “A job well done to the ladies as they have improved in performance as they participated in the various matches. The women put immense effort into their final match-up against Bonaire; they stuck to their game plan and fought until the very end. Work is still needed to facilitate further development and growth; however, tremendous effort and dedication were seen in all matches played by these women. In the future, we hope to continue to improve and shape an outstanding team.“
