TCIFA Attends the 2026 Concacaf W Proffessional Football Seminar
The Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) was represented at the 2026 Concacaf W Professional Football Development Seminar, hosted in Mexico City, Mexico from May 22–23, 2026.
Attending on behalf of TCIFA were Dr. Yunelsis Rodriguez Baez, Women’s Director, and Olivia Graveley, Director of the Grand Turk Football Program and Club Licensing Manager.
The seminar served as an important platform for football leaders throughout the Concacaf region to exchange ideas and explore strategies aimed at elevating the women’s game at both the national and club levels. Discussions focused on topics such as league structures, club licensing, professional pathways, and initiatives designed to create stronger foundations for women’s football across Member Associations.
For TCIFA, the event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with regional football stakeholders and gain deeper insight into Concacaf’s vision for the continued expansion and professional growth of women’s football. The knowledge and experiences shared throughout the seminar will contribute to ongoing efforts to strengthen programmes and opportunities for women and girls within the Turks and Caicos Islands.
TCIFA continues to prioritize the development of the women’s game through education, collaboration, and long-term planning, as the Association works toward creating a more sustainable and competitive football environment for future generations.
